Living Planet Aquarium - Round 2

Since Jon has been on Mr. Mom duty the majority of the week he made a fantastic discovery, Jaxson loves fishies. We kind of knew that but when he showed Jax the fish at Walmart, Jax lost it with excitement. So we decided to head back to Living Planet Aquarium to give it another shot and it was pretty great.
Yup we are those parents, we put our kid on a leash!!! (And we were the only ones at the aquarium to do so) We love our little guy but he is WILD! His listening and obeying skills are still pretty wanting at this point. We knew he would enjoy the aquarium if he go and do instead of in and out of the stroller and us carrying him. So we busted out the monkey back pack and let him go wild. When I say he was on cloud nine that might a bit of an understatement. :)
Trying to get Jaxson to take a picture in the canoe was pretty impossible. He needed to run!
Little friend doesn't like himself or anything. He found the one and only mirror in the entire aquarium and kissed it. I know, super gross because how many kids have touched it. That thought immediately popped into mine and Jon's head and we gave his leash a little tug to move on.
The monkey and his monkey. We told Jax he was taking his monkey on an adventure around the museum and he was pretty happy about it. He cuddled with his monkey the whole way up to Sandy and pretty much the whole way home. (Thanks for Shauna for the monkey, it's been a life saver)
Looking at the awesome fishies. He was loving them.
There were a couple of tanks he just wanted to crawl in.
Looking at the pengiuns. The first go around he was not impressed but the second stop by he was a little more into them. They are my favorite!
Don't mind my huge face. It's the only picture I was okay with because it was somewhat far away. My cheeks are still pretty puff, especially when I smile. I am sure I will look back and laugh some day but not today! But look at my cute boys on the left.
He seriously almost dove into the tide pool. He thought it was a Jaxson size pool for him to swim. He was pretty bugged when we took him away for splashing too much....poor little fishies didn't really anything to do with him because of his crazy splashing!
Amusingly this was probably Jax's favorite part of the aquarium, a large boat wheel he could turn! Haha, I love this kid. I think our next adventure will be to the Discovery Gateway Children's Science Museum in Salt Lake. I think he would absolutely love that place.
This picture is probably my favorite of the day. Jax is taking off running and Jon's facial expression says it all! We were both pretty exhausted by the end of our time at the aquarium. But what a fun day with my favorite two boys!!!

Here is our first adventure to  the aquarium back in September, Living Planet Aquarium - Round 1.
We are pretty excited they are moving to Draper this spring and supposedly it's going to double in size. (Wahoo because it's little!)
