Oh man the drive to California is always BRUTAL (I mean brutal!) but it definitely wasn't as bad as the last drive to California a year and half ago! The boys slept a little more this time which was NICE! We also made better time than last time, so we rolled into California a little earlier than expected so we decided to go to breakfast at Cracker Barrel.
(love this boys but he would only eat cereal with almond milk!)
Honestly the best part of breakfast were the rocking chairs outside! Boys could have played on those for hours....
We decided to go and see Jon's childhood home with our extra time. Jon showed the boys where he wrote his name in concrete and the stuff he did with his dad, Grandpa Conley. It was a really sweet and tender moment.
After we visited Jon's old house, we headed to Jen and Ron's....
Boys were able to play with one of their all time favorites! Marcus!!!!
And were able to visit with Janae's family as well! It was such a good day! We love our California peeps so much!
Boys were even able to get a ride in Uncle Ron's car.......
Then it was off to the hotel to settle in for the rest of the week......
(tired boys crashed!)
