Fifth Stop: Disneyland Day 1

Get ready for a massive picture overload! Today was day one of our Disneyland adventure!!!! The boys woke up to a little surprise from mom and dad (Jax and Bens got pennies to press, autograph books, Mickey lanyards with pouches, Disney character encyclopedias and pins to trade. West got a Mickey swaddle blanket and rattle). The boys loved it all. After a quick breakfast, we were out the door to get there for rope drop. Jon was sweet enough to sacrifice his Father's day. He's the best dad!
Right after making it in to the park, we were able to meet Goofy.....
And then we ran into Pluto......

Quick picture in front of the castle. One of our only family pictures. The Disneyland photographers were awesome about offering, even if you weren't using their photo pass.
The first ride the boys hit up, Astro Orbitor in Tomorrowland.......
Then they headed to Buzz Lightyear Blasters while I nursed West. Boys said it was great!....
Then it was off to Autopia. Jon and Jax were up first and then they let us do rider swap, so Bens and I could go next. It was a pretty fun ride!......
Next, Finding Nemo Submarine Adventure. It was cool but not my favorite, it was a tight fit, a little long and kind of hard to see. But the kids loved it
Next we headed to ToonTown. This place was a hit with the kiddos. They loved all their character's houses and all the neat cars. The rides were low key but fun. And we were able to meet Mickey in his house (the wait was LONG and you felt a little rushed when it was your turn but the boys thought it was worth it)!......

After Toon Town we swung to the right and caught Mickey's show.....
Then hoped on the train......
After we hopped off the train (we just took a big circle), we headed to its a Small World....
The boys loved the cars outside as much as inside the Mr. Toad's Wild Ride......
Then it was time to make our way to the front of the park......
But we ran into Donald on our way out, so of course we had to stop! Donald is Benson's favorite!......
After a busy morning and early afternoon, we finally headed back to the hotel so everyone could nap and come back for the parade and fireworks.....
Back for the awesome parade........
After the parade we let the boys pick out a special treat and they both picked rainbow Mickey suckers......
And then we actually had dinner in the park! Disneyland has a great allergen free selection which was AMAZING!......
We decided to sneak in a ride before the fireworks and headed to the Winnie the Pooh ride.....
After the ride, we found a place for the fireworks but based on a miscommunication with a Disneyland employee, we ended up in Frontierland instead of Main Street for the view. It was a bummer but we made the best of it!
Finally headed back to the hotel after the fireworks....
These are the faces of complete and utter EXHAUSTION......
Day one is in the books! Bring on tomorrow! It's going to be an early one!
