Forgiving & Forgetting

Trying to be a good person defeats me at times! For me, it's far easier to forgive than forget. I have forgiven a lot of the ignorant and straight up dumb things people have done or said regarding our fertility struggles. And let me tell you, there have been a lot and continue to be a lot....like a lot. Those are the phrases that paralyze when I cry myself to sleep for the fifth night this week. Those are the phrases and moments Satan repeats in my head over and over again. Those are the phrases and interactions, I have forgiven but can't seem to forget. Maybe one day, I will learn to forgive and FORGET. Tonight I just pray that forgiving is enough and I have forgotten enough to sleep.
