Independence Day!

This was such a fun day for our little family! We started off the day pretty mellow, getting food and other stuff ready for the day. After Jax woke up from his nap, we headed up Provo Canyon for a picnic with our little family. We found a little patch of grass at the park just the right size, put a blanket down and let the playing commence. Jax rolled around, played with grass and tried to get into everything. Jon and I attempted to each lunch but mostly wrestled the monkey! After spending a bit in the canyon we came back down to Orem, Jax took a nap, Jon packed his room and I finished making the yummiest fruit pizza cookies for the Watson party.

Now on to the party that evening at the Watsons! Lots and lots of super yummy food (best burger bar ever! Still dream about the pineapple!), huge blow up slide, tons of diet coke and lots of family. What a super fun party! But what's new, it's always a party at the Watson's and we LOVE it. Our little family was the early party pooper but we did extend bedtime by almost an hour. Oh how life has changed and we couldn't be more happy :). We love our mini monkey mister and have been so happy to share the many family parties and traditions we have with him. He truly makes everything better!

Happy birthday America! We feel so blessed to live in a nation with so many freedoms :)
