Reminder to self......don't go to free events in Utah county!!!! Today Disney Cars came to town with McQueen, Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm so naturally we head to Thanksgiving Point to check them out. We got there about 15 minutes before it was due to open and the picture below was the line when we got there (it wrapped around to the left and then had a zig zag line). It might have taken 2 hours and 45 minutes to get in......ugh!!!!! And because I expected it to be an in and out kind of thing I came totally unprepared and only had snacks and no water for me or the boys and it ended up being almost 90 degrees. Thankfully I was in line next to sweetest gal who had an extra bottle of water and gave it to us. She was seriously the greatest lady ever and I think I told her that 100x! So grateful for sweet people like her (& she and her crew had to end up leaving early and didn't even get in). Anyways, we finally got in, grabbed one of their yummy mini smoothies, took pictures with our favorite old and new characters, colored a little bit and checked out a few booths and were out of there in about 45 minutes. I did not think it was worth it but Jax was in absolute heaven so I guess it kind of was ;).
