And just like that Jaxson Clark Conley has turned 4! I'm a little bugged with him because I am pretty sure he agreed on his last birthday he would stop growing up. But he did grow up and I am amazed at the leaps and bounds he has made this year. He is wild, crazy, adventurous, sweet, sour, defiant, loving, kind, fun, witty and so much more. He is now attending mini preschool class which has helped his language skills and I really think his social skills as well. It is so fun and amazing to see the little person he is developing in to.
Here are some fun things about Jax at age 4:
-He has started calling everything that tastes good, "tasty" or "delicious" (but the inflection in his voice is the best part)
-He loves saying the word "disgusting" (with an awesome voice inflection as well)
- He gives kisses when someone is hurt or not feeling well
- He is still very much a daddy's boy but continues to need mom when he is sick, hurt or bugged with dad
- He loves Disney Cars, Paw Patrol, Curious George, Legos, super heros (Hulk, Captain America, Iron Mana)
- His favorite foods are burrito bites, Lucky Charms cereal, anything treat related, apples, bananas, strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, grapes, lettuce (which he still calls grass), cucumbers, avocados, carrots, root beer, sprite, pretzels, chicken nuggets, rice, black beans, bread, tortillas
- He always has to sleep with a million lovies (fav lovies: baby George, bunny, baby Jaxson puppy and daddy puppy)
- He loves music! (fav songs: Silent Night, Duck song, Monkey song, Popcorn Popping, Snowman, Child of God, Baby Mine, Cool Kids, Take Me to Church, Centuries, All About the Bass and so many more)
- He loves his cousins like they are siblings and all his aunties are second moms (especially Aunt Shauna)
- He is very social, but still a little rough around the edges with his play
- His language skills are slowly catching up and it's so fun to talk with him
- He is the slowest eater ever!
- He still asks for a car after every poop even though we haven't done incentives for pooping for months (he is an elephant, he never forgets!!!)
- He wants every toy on every commercial, regardless of targeted age or gender
- He loves playing video games with dad
- He still loves to ride on dad's shoulders whenever he gets a chance
- He will do pretend play for awesome increments of time
- He will say or do pretty much anything for a treat
- He alwyas asks if he can askdad when I say no to something and vice versa. When we both say no, he asks if he can ask Aunt Shauna and/or MaDeb
- He refuses to take baths or showers but then we can get him to, he never wants to get out
- He says the sweetest prayers at night (prays for all his cousins, Aunt Shauna and his friends every day)
- He is currently loving preschool and Primary
- He still sometimes reverts to wanting to be carried around and being a baby
- He has the most handsome eyes
- He has a shy side (sometimes), that disappears pretty quickly
- He loves bugs but will always have me catch them
- He still has a firecracker of energy up his bum
- He will run around yelling catch me, get me, tickle me
- He will hold his pee in forever if it means he can play a little longer
- He will say owwwie when thins are cold (like a wipe)
- He can and will quote lines from his favorite lines
- He loves to have a job and be helping
- He has started writing his name with help and a lot of encouragement
- He will say, "I'm so sad, I'm crying" just to make sure we know he is sad and crying
- He will say, "I have an idea"
I love the morning birthday wake up. Today he wanted to organize the balloons at first but then he decided running through them was a way better option.

We decided to let him open a present or two before preschool.....
(I love that this kid got excited about a flashlight and safety scissors....he's been wanting those items for a long time!)
My birthday preschool boy. It was fun to have his actual birthday fall on his preschool day.....
After lunch at home, we were off to the pumpkin patch....
After coming home for dinner, we let him open the rest his presents......
And then it was off to ice cream at Cold Stone (because the dude never eats the cake).....
