This year we decided to try something new to combat the January blahs and took the boys ice skating! We went to the Herriman Ice Ribbon and it was awesome! They had ice walkers for rent, as well skates and it was all really affordable. And as a bonus it was outdoors with fire pits to warm up. Jax and Benson were both so excited to skate! Bens skated with dad and loved it! They tried a few different methods....skating between Jon's legs (exhausting!), holding him (dangerous and was told that was a no no, haha!), the ice walker (worked pretty well) and finally skates off for him and in the stroller (another bonus, they let stroller on the ice....it was so fun and Bens LOVED it!). Jax used the ice walker and was in HEAVEN and cruising by the end! It was a blast and definitely one of our new favorite family traditions!
