Jon's dad unexpectedly passed away August 29th, 2018. He had just undergone a partial leg amputation (mid calf) from complications with his diabetes and an injury to his foot not healing properly. During his recovery, he suffered an attack (they weren't sure if it was a heart attack or aneurysm or a stroke) and did not come back from it. While we knew our time was limited with him these past few years because of certain health issues and their complications, his passing still came as a shock. We are so grateful for his huge influence in our lives and the man he chose to be. He was warm, loving, intelligent, a man of God, a wonderful father, grandfather. He was confidant for Jon, someone he always looked up to and went to for advice. He was the cool grandpa who loved baseball, laughing, and playing for my boys. He was a sweetheart to me, making me feel loved and included in the extended Conley family. We are all so grateful for his life and the impact he had on ours. Now starting in a few days, we will gather as family and celebrate his life and the love we have for him.
These pictures were about two months before he passed away at our family reunion......
So grateful families are forever! Until we meet again!
