Tonight we attempted to make s'mores.....Jon looked at me and said repeatedly, why are we doing this? Are we trying to torture ourselves? I just laughed. Yes, nothing is ever super easy with three little kids. They are messy, destructive, impatient, crazy, wild, sassy, etc. But I love these little adventures with them. I love watching them experience new things. I love seeing their joy (even if it's mixed in with a lot of crazy and sometimes challenging moments). I know but the time things get easier, one, two or all of them won't even want to hang out with us. So I'm going to cherish the fun, hard memories and hold tight to it all!
