This little guy is definitely a little bit of handful but he is also the sweetest. He loves to give cheek kisses, hi mommas, good jobs with claps and so much more. Love all the sides to this crazy little one we call ours.

Halloween
I love Halloween with this super cute kiddo! Every year since he was born has been an adventure on Halloween. From him being 11 days old, to puking all over his costume, to coming to love trick-or-treating. And this year, he is really into the costume thing! Here is a little peek into our Halloween shenanigans! :)
Apparently this is where he hides candy he's stolen :)
Little dude getting his Mario on!
He seriously was so excited to be Mario for Halloween. This is all his dad's influence ;) The Buzz Lightyear costume I picked out is back at the store.
Superman and Mario
My super happy trick-or-treater! Could not get enough of knocking doors.
He loved running up to the door and knocking.
Me and the monster man!
Finally home, in jammies, watchin Halloween George and handing out candy.

Gardner Village - Round 2
We like to party, we like, we like to party! Especially with the littles! They are a party all by themselves! Today Shauna, Lola, Jax and I headed up to Gardner village for a little witch hunting! Such a fun morning :)

A Rare Species
Did you know that I am rare species? I am a 30 year old mom, a Mormon, been married for (almost) 6 years, resident in Utah and have one three year old child. I am not pregnant. I drive a car, not a massive SUV or mini-van. And I have cried every month when I start my cycle for almost the last 2 years. I swoon over babies and my heart breaks to think I am may not be able to hold another one of mine any time soon or ever. I have secondary unexplained infertility and I am a rare species.

Haunted House 2014!
This has been such a fun tradition to carry on from the Barrett side of the family. My Grandma Barrett always had a huge haunted house we would walk through (well it started as a wall and ended up a whole large indoor pool room and storage area). Pretty sure it emotionally scared us all but it was awesome!!! Shauna started the haunted house a few years ago and for the past couple of years all of the sisters have started to contribute to the fun! We added two new scenes this year which was pretty exciting!
The garden scene with good ole' Carl the scarecrow I made last year. This scene is accompanied by a monster in a scarecrow mask (which happened to me this year and I no longer have a voice! Haha! :))
One of the skeleton scenes in the sandbox around the trampoline. There was also a cut out house which JD hid behind.
The butcher shop is a family tradition. This year Jen manned the station as the dead victim on the table that comes to life.
The cemetery which included the grim reeper and featured Jon as a random monster.
The "IT" scene was new this year and fashioned by Jen. It is also a family tradition to have "IT" the clown in the haunted house. Still scares the crap out of me. Ross manned this station and was a freaky It.
The pirate skeleton scene, spooky as always and originally fashioned by Cook. Shauna's friend Christina manned this station. It really thew off the kids because they couldn't figure out who it was behind the mask.
The witch scene was new this year as well. Shauna and I worked on this scene and Brooke manned it as the fourth witch.
It was an awesome haunted house this year and we look forward to scaring, I mean scarring the kiddos next year. Let the family fun continue!!!!!
Halloween Witch Make Up
It was definitely fun to do some different make up. Witch themed make up was really fun. Lots of green, purple with a little red and I called it good! :)
