Discovery Gateway Children's Museum

What a fun day!!! I love getting out and about with our little family. For our newest adventure we headed to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum in Salt Lake. As we walked through the museum we noticed there were parts that were way too old and advanced for Jax and there were other parts that were just right and he loved. The only annoying thing about the museum is they had a huge after school  program come through and the kids were so wild they were essentials running over the numerous toddlers that were there. In my opinion, it much too expensive to have those groups go through at the same time as the general public. Oh well! We still made the most of it and Jax had a good time.

After the museum we headed to Red Robin (YUMMMMM!) and had dinner. Jax throughly enjoyed the stake fries, as did I! :) Another fun family outing! 

Hoogle Zoo

Gotta love a free day at Hoogle Zoo! Even though it was little chilly, we still had a blast. Get ready to check out our adventure with the usual picture overload. :)

This picture took a lot longer to get than you woud think. One little miss would find a good spot and the other one had to find a good spot and this went on and on. 

Finally I decided to bust out the monkey leash and let the little man go wild (definitely not the first time I've used it, love that leash. See Aquarium & Children's Museum). And let me tell you Jax was in heaven, even though we got the usual "That chic puts her kid on a leash like a dog" look. Jax loves that he can run and I love that he can't run away. Granted he fell about every 2 minutes from the running (and that might even be a stretch). He just gets so dang excited!!!!

Little friend loves to be outside, he needs to be outside! So I wrapped him up in a blanket and put a hat on him and we enjoyed some life in the sun. Come on Spring!!!! :)

Just a Little Dancing

Jax loves music. He also loves trucks and tractors. So when I found a toy for cheap that had both, I had to scoop it up. Who knew dancing would soon ensue. This video is good but he usually does more of a little head bang routine. It's awesome (I need to catch it on video)! Sometimes this kid kills me. 

Tiny Moments - Naps or Lack Thereof

Ever wonder what a toddler that never stops looks like when they stop taking a second nap and shorten their first to a little over an hour (verus the 3 hours total he used to get between both naps). Well here he is....on day 3 of this awesome new schedule he created.......

Bet you didn't know a dog really says bark, bark instead ruff, ruff or woof, woof. Neither did I, but apparently Jax has decided a doggie says bark, bark.

Longest Day Ever

Do you ever have one those days that seem never ending???!?!!? Oh today was so one of those days. The morning went great and then Jax went down for an early nap, which also ended up being short but I figured, no biggie he will just go down for an afternoon nap. We were also supposed to head up to Midway for a lunch with a couple of my sisters, but Saratoga was getting pounded with snow, so we decided not to chance it. After Jax woke up from his nap, we played and played and then little friend decided he did not want to take an additional nap.....leaving 9 solid hours of Jaxson! Here is a little bit of our day. And when I say a little bit, I am being so serious..... because it was the longest day ever!!!! We did manage to make it to the dollar store when the roads cleared up later that afternoon. And trying on bunny ears was supposed to be his punishment for punishing me with no second nap, but he just laughed and pulled them off. Needless to say we both crashed that night.
