We did it! Jon & I were married on January 22nd in the Timp temple. We had a beautiful sealing with amazing family members and friends. After our sealing we had a luncheon at Thanksgiving point and a reception at Noah's (pictures of the day coming soon, 2 more weeks I think is what our photographer said). Right after the reception we hopped in the car and headed for Vegas, getting there around 4am! We thought we'd do a little gambling since we were feeling lucky. Okay maybe that part is not true :), it might have been a pit stop to San Diego the next day. After a little navigation problem we barely made our cruise! Kind of a crazy couple of days, but once we got on the boat we were finally able to relax and get some sleep. I know you are all thinking sure they got some "sleep" but we really did, we were exhausted , okay and maybe some other stuff too ;). The sad part of our cruise was that Jon and I both got motion sickness and were on anti-naseau medication the whole time and even for few days after we were off the boat. Here are some pictures from our cruise......
Jon and I after I beat him in the alphabet car game!
First Formal Night...Yeah we looked pretty casual compared to everyone else.
First Full Day at Sea
Nasty Sunburns!
Lounging Around the Boat
Acupulco....not our favorite port. Kind of dirty looking but it had a Walmart, which was nice!:) And we did some fun things.....
Four Wheeling (only bummer is it was one a flat beach, so we just raced)
We just can't help ourselves when we find coconuts!
Watching the cliff divers. They were amazing. Some jumped with fire and some jumped from the highest point of the cliff, it was ridiculous!!!
Night out in Acapulco
Our one addiction on the cruise, soft serve ice cream. We had at least 2 a day!!!!
Our second port, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa. This by far was our favorite port. It was a small fishing town, very tranquil and relaxing.
We did however see and smell some nasty stuff!
Loved this port because we just laid out, ate on the beach.
Our Very Own Crocodile Dundee! He was absolutely crazy. He caught an alligator that morning and with the help of Jon and a few other guys drug it truck for population control. Kind of crazy!
This cute little old lady, was the artist to some amazing bowls. We ended up buying two of them for chips and salsa and we love them.
Beautiful sunset in Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa.
Our least favorite port.....Manzanillo. It was a huge industrial port, where the beach was about 30 minutes away with nothing to do! So Jon and I just lounged on the beach with no umbrella. Needless to say, I was fried and just got a little pink. So the next two days of our cruise were spent fully covered and in a moderate amount of sunburn pain. :)
And it wouldn't be a Carnival Cruise without the towel animals every night!
Well that's about it, hopefully wedding pictures will come soon!

Looks like so much fun. I miss those days! Congrats, you look so happy and I'm happy for you.
Congratulations on your marriage! Your honeymoon looked so fun! Scott and I just went on the exact same cruise in November and we felt the same way about Acupulco! It was so dirty and nasty! But we loved the two other ports! Hope your newlywed life is going great! Enjoy every moment!
