Tiny Moment - Mormon Mimosa

On our way back from Vegas a couple of months ago we stopped at Swig in St. George and got their Mt. Dew with mango puree and I have been craving ever since. Jon got the great idea to get Mt. Dew and mango juice and just see. It's not identical but still oh so good. We lovingly call it the mormon mimosa! ;) 

Tiny Moment - Thank You & Play Time

Today we decided to go to Cornbelly's to have a little fall fun. But when we got there it was super windy and pretty chilly. We decided to post pone our adventure but that made a certain someone pretty mad. To boost spirits we took him to a play place (ewww so gross but sometimes necessary) and it worked! He had a blast and made a new friend, Luna. :)

Conference Weekend

We love conference weekend aka PJ weekend! Granted watching conference with a toddler is much different but I still managed to get some great insight out of the weekend and I can't wait to read it in the Ensign. It's amazing to get such profound counsel and reassurance from the inspired leaders in our church. I feel truly blessed to have conference.

Getting the traditional conference breakfast rolling. Waffles with strawberries and wipe cream for Jon and I. Allergen free pancakes for Jax, which he wouldn't touch....cereal or oatmeal only these days for that picky eater! After breakfast Jon was off to work (he had to work on Sunday too...long weekend for this lady and him!)

This boy would only hold still for the songs and barely even then!

Snacks always help this guy behave a little better ;) 

On to day two of conference....

The joys of a toddler who wants mommy to play and not watch conference. Rough life for him :)

This kid grows like a weed and his feet are no exception.....In fact I think they are the fasting growing part on his body. I am pretty sure he is willing them to grow so he can keep getting new kicks! ;) He really does love new shoes. He is his father's son because this lady could care less about shoes....I'm all about tops! ;)

That's right we rock out to Duck Tails at our house and Jax loves it!!! Even if he is in the other room and hears the theme song he comes a running, just so he can dance to it. I remember one time he was in the bath and I ran to grab him a towel and all of the sudden, I hear little feet running down the hall because he had jumped out of the tub and was coming bare butt and naked just so he could dance. :)

Oh I just adore this little guy. He was born last night about 15 minutes after I took Brooke's girls home to go to bed (they were so mad at me! ;)). Thankfully Jon was closing today at work so I was able to sneak over to the hospital and hold this adorable little munchkin. Nothing better than a freshly baked babes. :)

Tiny Moment - This Is What Happens When We Babysit

Today was a busy day but oh so fun! In the morning we were able to watch my friend, Crystal's babes, Owen. He is such a cute little guy and so good! :) I had brought a couple of things up from the basement for him and Jax decided those toys looked oh so fun and he needed to try them out. Bless him!

After Owen woke up from his nap :)

 Then we picked up my niece Taylor from school because my sister, Brooke, was in labor with her little guy! We decided it was the perfect excuse to make cookies and these two little monkeys had a blast!
