(Jon is going to kill me if he EVER reads this blog post. I might have let Benson bowtie slip when I was taking it off......man, we would have a really cute girl! Hahaha!!!! ;) Poor Bens he has a crazy momma!!!!)
But really he is just a handsome boy! All the heart eyes for this boy in his Sunday best!
This is what Jax and I do on Sundays when Jon is working, Bens is napping and we are biding our time to go to cousins.

Today was the last day of Jax's first year of preschool (He's a late birthday so we decided to do two years for our wild man!). It was definitely bittersweet for Jax and myself. He is excited at the idea of the summer and playing with cousins a lot and I am excited for our adventures as well. I think he will miss Learning Dynamics even though at times it was not the best experience for our little guy but he also had such amazing times there as well. I know he will miss his teacher, even though again we had our struggles but he grew to love her SOOOOO much. It was for sure a year of learning for Jax and for his momma. Jax is speaking so much better. He is sweet in his social interaction, just struggles a little bit with sharing. He loves to learn on his terms but doesn't love to sit still for long periods of time. Not sure how much academically he absorbed (probably more than he is showing me) but that was never so much the goal of his first year. We wanted him to have the exposure of school and making friends and we accomplished much in those areas. All and all it was a good year of learning for Mr. Jax and we are so proud of all the effort he put forth. He's a pretty dang awesome kiddo!
Bubs came home to a little end of school/summer surprise and was beyond thrilled! This kid's smile.....yeah it's the best!

Today Benson had his 6 month check up. This chubby little man is what 18th percentile for weight looks like.....what the?!?!? I asked his doctor what kind of babies are 100 percentile and he was like they are HUGE! :) Love this "chubby" little 6 month old. But we do not love shots.......
It was a long day of grumpy babes but the cuddles were nice!

The struggle to keep Jax's toilet clean is real! I am going to make him start scrubbing! And I'm going to beat whoever taught him to pee standing up.....they really ruined a good thing for me ;)
Raise your hand if you are a cute stinker! Poor Bens is still feeling the effects from yesterday's shots....requiring all mom's attention, cuddles, etc. Thankfully his monkey and the TV remote were able to share soothing duties with me today ;)
No matter how grumpy he is and tired I am....his little face never gets any less sweet......his saving grace!
And this one has too many cars.....yup WAY WAY WAY too many cars! (PS this is four years of birthdays, Christmas', potty training, sleep training, earning rewards, being an only child for 4 years, straight up spoiling at times, etc. Okay I'm over my justifying his toys ;))

I love when Jaxson wakes up and asks to hold his brother. It's pretty much the sweetest thing ever and yes I take a million and one pictures of it! I hope they are buddies FOREVER! :)
Pretty sure this is most edible boy ever! Thankfully he is feeling a lot better today! Day three is the charm.
So today while I was in the shower today (FINALLY), Jaxson drew all over himself with a brown marker because, "Mom, brown is my favorite color!" And our never-roll-over-boy, rolled over! One great thing and one not so good thing happened.....eh, I'll take it :)

We had birthday cake for breakfast this morning because we were either too full to eat it or it wasn't done last night.....haha I don't remember!!!!!! :) Bless our house!
Best part of today was Jaxson finding the wrapper of the fruit snacks I sneaked (is that the correct word.....always sounds weird to me!) last night. He ran up to Jon with hand on his hip and was like "Dad did you even eat this?" Jon just laughed because Jax was dead serious bugged that someone eat one of HIS fruit snacks. Oh that boy.....he kills me! Pretty sure I let Jon fall on his sword for me ;). It's better that dad ate it than mom :)!
