We love us some $2 Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point. This week it was off to the Dinosaur Museum with the littles and one great addition, MaDeb, who is in town visiting. :)

Tiny Moment - They Come The Way They Come
Oh how I love my little hooligan! This kid is busy, wild, crazy, inventive, smart and sweet. Besides him being a sour patch kid, he kind of reminds me of sweet and sour chicken. Haha, we do I keep comparing my child to food1 It's all about the food ;). He is the sweetest little guy with his kisses, snuggles, hugs, mommas, daddas, sorry's, please, thank you's and help me's. And then he is sour with his go away's, no no no no's, occasional swatting and short fuse. But like with anything you take the "bad" with the amazing. I truly cherish who this little guy is. I know it's my job as his momma to help embrace his awesome qualities and cope with the qualities that might present struggles for him the future. But its undeniable that he is my fav little person :)

Vegas Getaway!
Before Jon and I had Jax, we were a spoiled two income family and with that we went on annual vacations to Mexico! Like I said, we were spoiled. In all honestly, we worked hard and played hard and had no kids, so we could ;). The last getaway we had was when I was 17 weeks preggers (babymoon :)). So we decided to brave the odds of going out of town to Vegas with a toddler and it was worth it! :)
So we decided to head straight from Yuba Lake to Vegas to save some driving. After a long day of playing and sun, this was my babes WIDE AWAKE!.....
This is our crazy guy at Jack in the Box in St. George when we stopped for dinner.....
This crazy little guy lasted till about 30 minutes before we got to our hotel and then crashed with all toys in hand....(it was like 11:30pm...he usually goes to bed at 7:30pm!)
The first night we let bubs sleep in the bed with us because to be honest the kid hasn't slept in a port-a-crib since he was 3 months old and I was a little nervous he wouldn't sleep! Ha! But let me tell you, I could never do a family bed.....he is horrible to sleep with. He loved having either his feet in my face (not Jon's) and then would randomly kick me (not Jon) or he end up with his butt in my face (again not Jon's)....no bueno. But he was so super cute when he woke up. He was heaven because we let him watch Horton....
Then it was pool time......
That night we were way chill. We put Jax to bed in his port-a-crib (and he slept in there all night!!!), ordered pizza and watched one of Jax's cartoon movies ;).
The next day we vegged out and decided to head out to the pool after Jax woke up from his nap (which he took in his port-a-crib....little champ of ours). This is us waiting for him to wake up ;)
Then it was off to the pool for day two of swimming....
That night we decided to head out on the town but not before someone begged some treats off of us....
Then it was off to see the sights. Jax loved driving the strip.....
Here is our shameless flirt at dinner. He adored our super sweet waitress.
The next morning, we packed up and headed home. He was a trooper driving and we only had to resort to the IPad for the last hour or so.
In St. George we did little stop at Chick-fil-a that turned into this kid not wanting to get off the slide or out of the play area.
And a stop at SWIG! The dirty diet dr. pepper....just okay (which is what I got) but the Mt. Dew with mango....amazing (which is what Jon got)! We may have gone back after our late lunch so I could get a mango Mt. Dew one too! :)
All and all such a fun vacation. Of course we were more tired than we left but it was oh so worth it! Love the memories made and time spent with my fav people :)
